Prof. Haimu Ye is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, China University of Petroleum. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph. D. from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University. He became an Assistant Professor in 2012, and a Professor in 2020. His major projects include the National Natural Science Foundation of China General Project 21674128 (2017-2020), Scientific Research Start-up Fund for Young Top Talents 2462013BJRC001 (2013-2016), etc. He was awarded the 2011 Ministry of Education Doctoral Academic Newcomer Award, the 2017 China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Science and Technology Invention Award Second Prize (ranked 4th), First Prize of the 2018 China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award (ranked 6th), and First Prize of 2019 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award (ranked 7th). In addition to his research endeavors, he has supervised the successful completion of numerous Master's and Ph.D. dissertations. He actively advises students in multiple roles, continuing his dedication to fostering the next generation of researchers.
