My recent research focuses on developing visible-light active photocatalysts, such as Bi₂O₃ and BiFeO₃, with controllable phase, morphology, and crystallinity. These materials are designed for the efficient degradation of emerging contaminants like Rhodamine B and Metronidazole in water systems. By optimizing synthesis methods—such as hydrothermal treatment and sol–gel processes—and integrating porous supports like SBA-15, my work improves the stability, reusability, and photocatalytic efficiency of these materials.
