Prof. Dario Zappa received his B.Sc. (2006) and M.Sc. (2009) in Electronic Engineering and his Ph.D. (2013) in Materials Science from the University of Brescia. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the SENSOR Lab (Brescia, Italy). His research activities focused on the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials (metal oxides, dichalcogenides) for different applications, including chemical sensors, e-noses, solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), and thermoelectric devices. In the last few years, he was involved in many international projects (EU: “ORAMA”, “S3”, “MSP”, “SNOOPY”; NATO: “AMOXES”; MAECI: "Singapore", "South Korea") and in some national projects (MIUR & Regione Lombardia). Since 2012, he has been a lecturer in Physics at the University of Brescia.
