Information

Patrick Pons received his Ph.D. degree in electronics (with a focus on silicon pressure micro-sensors) in 1990. Since 1991, he has worked as a researcher at the CNRS-LAAS (National Scientific Research Center – Laboratory of Analysis and Analysis of Systems) in Toulouse. His research interests are focused on micro-technologies and micro-sensors. In 2005, he began his research at LAAS in a new field, coupling micro-sensors and electromagnetics for the development of passive wireless sensors. He has validated pressure, temperature, stress and nuclear radiation sensors using radar interrogation. In 2015, he started studying wireless ultra-fast sensors for air-blast monitoring. Dr. Patrick Pons is the author or co-author of more than 100 papers in revered international journals and more than 280 communications presented at international conferences.
