Pratap Bahadur is an Emeritus Professor. He has been an Associate Professor (1980–1988) and Professor of Chemistry (1988 till superannuation in 2014) at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. He worked as a UNESCO fellow in erstwhile Czechoslovakia and he was a visiting scientist in France and Sweden, a Fulbright scholar in the United States, a DAAD fellow in Germany, and a visiting professor in Canada, France, Japan, Taiwan, and China. He has developed his research career during the last 50 years, paying attention to different problems dealing with various aspects of Colloid, Surface, and Polymer Science with a particular focus on self-assembly in solution. He has 331 publications with 8889 citations and an h-index of 47 (Scopus, 10 December 2023).
