President Xi set a long-term mitigation target of carbon neutrality by 2060 in September 2020 to cut carbon emissions and improve environmental performance. As a result, the current study aims to investigate how green human resource management and green innovation affect environmental performance in pursuit of the ultimate objective of carbon neutrality. Furthermore, the research considers the potential mediating effect of a green competitive advantage to clarify the mechanisms by which GHRM and green innovation impact environmental performance. Data from 278 employees in the manufacturing industry of Heilongjiang Province were collected through a questionnaire, for which we used a quantitative random sampling technique. The study employed the Smart PLS-4 structural equation modeling technique and revealed that all three factors significantly influenced environmental performance: green HRM, innovation, and competitive advantage. Resource-based view (RBV) theory served as the theoretical foundation for the study. The study uniquely contributes to the literature on GHRM, green innovation, competitive advantage, and environmental performance.

In the current technological and innovation era, academic libraries are facing challenges in implementing new technologies to provide secure, efficient, and transparent Technology-Based Services (TBS) and finding innovative solutions to enhance information dissemination. This study investigated the impact of Strategic Imperative (SI) on Technology Adoption Strategy (TAS) within academic libraries in Pakistan, by employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and proposed a conceptual research model. The Study employed a survey-based quantitative research design to investigate the SI effect on TAS and the impact of SI and TAS on Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), and Adoption Willingness (AW) of technology. A structured online survey was designed based on the proposed conceptual model and distributed among librarians across postgraduate colleges, public and private universities (Pakistan) using a convenience sampling technique. Multicollinearity and Common Method Variance (CMV) Bias were calculated to ensure the robustness, reliability, and validity of the model. 206 valid responses analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on Smart-PLS (version 4.1.0.3). The results of the structural model highlight the critical relationship between SI and TAS, PU, PEOU, and AW. The data analysis results confirmed a significant positive impact of SI on TAS, PU, and PEOU. Moreover, TAS has a significant impact on PU and AW but an insignificant impact on PEOU. The PLS results demonstrated that the SI played a crucial role in developing an effective TAS, as well as its usability and usefulness, and its impact on librarians' willingness to adopt technology. R2 and Q2 results established the robustness of the structural model. Furthermore, the findings suggest that institutional support and training programs are essential for librarians to enhance their technical skills, thereby improving the usability and ease of use of new technology, which ultimately can increase their willingness to adopt it. This study contributes to existing research by exploring the impact of SI and TAS on PU and PEOU in academic libraries, with a particular emphasis on the exceptional geographic location of Pakistan. This study is unique in examining the mediating roles of PEOU and PU in the relationship between SI and TAS. The application of PLS-SEM enhances the methodological rigor and proposed conceptual framework-based research findings, providing actionable insights for policymakers and managers and paving the way for future research.

In philosophy, the term “culture” refers to everything that is distinct from nature. Sociology, like ethology, defines culture more simply as “what is shared by a group of persons” and “what unifies them,” that is, what is learnt, transferred, created, and generated. Indeed, culture is what distinguishes people from each other and from their origins. It encompasses all facets of human existence and their modes of communication and interaction with each other. You are what you eat; it is unimportant how they consume it or prepare it as long as it reflects them and their culture. There is a significant connection between cuisine and culture; this includes their religion and traditions. The increasing number of Chinese individuals going to Pakistan to work on hundreds of CPEC projects and the increasing number of Pakistanis visiting China for different reasons have aided in the growth of Chinese food's appeal in the country. Numerous Pakistani cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, now have restaurants. This article discusses the link between culture and food and claims, using theories of active or experiential learning, that teaching food as culture may help develop cultural awareness and intelligence. The data for this theoretical research were gathered from primary and secondary sources. The main sources included books, official databases of China and Pakistan, and memorandums of understanding between the two nations, while the secondary sources included research papers, newspapers, journals, and internet databases.

The impact of cultural and socioeconomic factors on parental monitoring, parental social media use, and children's perceptions of social media is a rapidly evolving and important area of research. This mini-review aims to synthesize and summarize the existing literature on this topic, with a focus on the novelty of the findings. The rapid pace of technological change and the increasing role of social media in children's lives has created new challenges and opportunities for parents and educators, and understanding the impact of cultural and socioeconomic factors on these relationships is critical for promoting safe and positive social media use among children. This review highlights the importance of considering cultural and socioeconomic diversity in the development of effective parenting and educational strategies, and underscores the far-reaching implications of social media use for children's well-being, including their mental health, social development, and academic success. The multidisciplinary perspective provided by this mini-review underscores the importance of continued research in this area.
