Roberto Pierdicca is an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor of Geomatics. His research interests are primarily Geospatial Intelligence, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and 3D Point Clouds. He is the author of more than 150 papers in international conferences and journals and participates in several international projects related to Cultural Heritage, Tourism Management, Education, Geosciences, and Archaeology. In 2020, he was awarded with the Outstanding Early Career Researcher award by the European Geoscience Union, and in 2022/2023 he was named among the 2% of most-cited researchers by Stanford and Elsevier.
