I have recently completed my Ph.D. research from the University of Naples Federico II Naples Italy. With a strong background in tectonics, structural geology, sedimentary basin in active orogenic belts, I have focused on researching the tectonic processes that shape orogenic systems and the associated metamorphic evolution of tectonic units. My research is centered on deformation, structural analysis of accretionary prism and mélanges. My work has led to a deeper understanding of the Cilento region in southern Apennines in terms of structural evolution of accretionary prisms, tectonic mélanges, orogenic wedges and thermobaric conditions. Currently, I am exploring the tectonic evolution and metamorphic history of tectonic mélanges in the Mediterranean region and its comparison with the orogenic systems in the Himalayas. Through this research, I aim to bridge the gap between structural geology and metamorphic petrology by integrating thermobarometry, petrography, structural mapping, or geochronology.
