Alvise Berti has been working at Ospedale Santa Chiara (Rheumatology) since 2018. In 2021 he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in Rheumatology at CISMED, University of Trento. He developed an interest in lymphocytes biology and autoimmunity since his degree in  Medicine and Surgery at Ospedale San Raffaele in 2012, where he also got his clinical fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology in 2018. He then got his PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Trento in 2021. He worked at Mayo Clinic for two years as a postdoc, in the Vasculitis Center and Thoracic Disease Research Unit.
