Dr Hamil Somia is a researcher and lecturer at the Higher Normal School of Kouba (ENS Kouba), where she also directs the Animal Ecobiology Laboratory. She earned her PhD in 2019 from ENS Kouba. She co-leads the PHC Tassili Project No. 24MDU110 and has published 12 articles and 19 book chapters. Her research focuses on aquatic biodiversity and climate change's impacts on freshwater ecosystems
