Jongwoon Kim, head of Chemical Safety Research Center at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology in Korea, has been working in the field of environmental risk assessment since 2007. He worked as a senior researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Europe, Germany, as an associate professor at University of Science and Technology in Korea, and as an expert advisor at National Institute of Environmental Research, Korea. He obtained his PhD at University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany. His research interest is mainly mixture risk assessment for practical solutions to social issues on environmental health covering both scientific and industrial needs.
