Jacek Kurzepa is a Polish medical doctor and scientist. He specializes in clinical neurology. He graduated from the Medical University of Lublin in 2001. He worked at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital, the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and currently serves as the head of the Department of Medical Chemistry at the Medical University of Lublin. In 2019, he obtained the academic title of Professor. His interests focus on diseases of the nervous system and the role of extracellular matrix metalloproteinases in the physiology and pathology of diseases.
