Dr. Theerthankar Das

Dr. Theerthankar Das (Infection, Immunity and Inflammation Department, Sydney Institute for Infectious Diseases, School of Medical Sciences, Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney, Australia) is an experienced microbiologist, specifically in the fields of microbiology, microscopy/imaging, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, and cell biology. Dr. Das joined the University of Sydney after being awarded the prestigious University of Sydney Fellowship (2015). He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney. Dr. Das has won various research funding/grants from Sydney University and Australian Industry and Government, valued at over AUD 4.5 million. In addition, he has won multiple conference travel awards and is regularly invited to deliver lectures at various institutes and meetings. To date, Dr. Das has authored and co-authored 32 publications in eminent journals and 6 book chapters as the first author. He is also involved in editorship and reviewing for many high-impact scientific journals.
