Lucio De Maria is a neurosurgeon at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in Switzerland. In 2018, he earned his Doctor of Medicine with the highest grade and a thesis scholarship in Catania, Italy. Later that year, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Neurologic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, US. In 2019, he was a Clinical Fellow for the Department of Neurologic Surgery at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool, UK. In 2024, he completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Brescia, Italy. His main interests concern vascular surgery and interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, and skull-base surgery.
