I work at the Infectious Diseases Research Laboratory, Division of Medicine IV, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I am responsible for the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology and Genetics. My research interests include the molecular basis of antimicrobial resistance, the molecular typing and the antibacterial activity (in vitro) of the new drugs.
