Biography
Emilio Bastidas-Arteaga received his BSc in Civil Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2003, an MSc in Structural Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in 2005, a Ph.D. in Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in 2009, and another Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Université de Nantes in 2010. He is a Professor at the Laboratory of Engineering Sciences for the Environment (LaSIE—UMR CNRS 7356), La Rochelle University. His research interests mainly focus on reliability; deterioration; climate change; maintenance; sustainability; reinforced concrete; corrosion; and timber.
