Kasemsri Srisupundit received her Doctor of Medicine from Mahidol University (Ramathibodi) in 2000. Since 2013, she has worked as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine at Chiang Mai University. In 2021, she was promoted to assistant dean. Her work in medicine has resulted in 116 publications and the Chiang Mai University Chang Tongkhum Young Excellent Researcher Award.
