Prof. Cristina Parolin

Prof. Cristina Parolin is a Full Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova, Italy. She studied at the Institute of Microbiology in 1989–2000. From 2005, she continued to study and further research at the University of Padova until 2015. As a professor, her teaching courses mainly include microbiology, pharmacology and molecular therapies, pharmacology, and molecular therapies. Prof. Parolin has 113 publications with more than 6100 citations (from Scopus, 11 April 2024) and an h-index of 31. Her main research keywords and expertise include infectious disease, HIV-1, cell line, glycoprotein, reverse transcriptase, viral pathogenesis, antiviral drugs, FIV, lentiviruses, host–virus interactions, and genetic treatment of HIV-1 infection.
