Geun-Woo Park holds a Ph.D. in Animal Life Sciences from Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea, where he carried out his research in the Livestock Climate and Air Environment Laboratory. His work has focused on the field measurement of greenhouse gas emissions across the full spectrum of Korean livestock production systems, including Hanwoo beef cattle and dairy barns, swine housing facilities, manure wastewater purification treatment plants, and anaerobic digestion (biogas) facilities. Based on these on-farm measurement campaigns, he contributed to the development of country-specific greenhouse gas emission factors for the Korean livestock sector, supporting national inventory reporting and mitigation policy. He currently serves as the head of COANI, a company specializing in animal stress diagnostics, where he applies his background in livestock environmental research to developing practical tools for assessing animal stress and welfare on commercial farms
