Prof. Dr.-.Ing. Mao-Hsiung Chiang received his B.S. and M.S. in Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1990 and 1992 respectively, and his Dr.-Ing. degree in institute of Fluid Power Drives and Control, RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 1998. Since 2012, he serves as full professor and from 2015 to 2021 as Department Chair in Department of Engineering Science & Ocean Engineering, and since 2022 as Associate Dean and Distinguished Professor of College of Engineering, National Taiwan University. Since 2018 he takes the role of Director, NTU Energy Research Center. From year 2016 to 2019, he took role as Principle Investigator of Offshore Wind Power & Marine Energy Focus Center in National Energy Program II (NEP II). He is expertise in field of wind power system dynamic analysis control, opto-mechatronics control system, advanced fluid power control.
