Ciro Gioia received an MSc. in Nautical Sciences and a PhD from Parthenope University in 2009 and 2014, respectively. From May 2014 to June 2016, he was an external consultant at the JRC. From 2016 to 2022, he was a scientific project officer at the JRC. Currently, he is working as a GNSS business analyst, focusing on location and navigation with a special emphasis on geomatics aspects.
