Prof. Dr. Robert Steinberger-Wilckens is a Professor in Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Research and Director of the Centre for Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Research of the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham, UK. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Carl-von-Ossietzky University, Oldenburg, Germany. His research focuses on solid oxide fuel cells and electrolysis, reversible fuel cells (rSOC) integrated with methane synthesis, intermediate-temperature polymer fuel cells, e-fuels for long-distance logistics, and socio-techno-economic research, such as market introduction of fuel cells.
