Moulay A. Akhloufi received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Laval University, Quebec City, QC, Canada in 2013. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Moncton, Moncton, NB, Canada, and the Head of the Perception, Robotics, and Intelligent Machines Group (PRIME). Before joining the University of Moncton in 2016, he worked in industry and technology transfer in the areas of computer vision and robotics for more than 15 years. His research interests include pattern recognition, face recognition (multispectral), biometrics, intelligent surveillance systems, and GPGPUs.
