Dr. Emilia-Adela Salca (Manea) is Professor at the Transilvania University of Brasov. She received a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Transilvania University of Brasov in 2008. In 2013-2014 she was granted the Fulbright Fellowship Award and performed at Oklahoma State University. She defended her habilitation thesis in 2024 in Forest Engineering. Her research interests include: Optimization of wood milling and sanding, Heat treatment of wood, Densification of wood, and Coating of wood.
