Peilei Zhang is a full professor of materials processing and the director of equipment/project at the department of Materials Engineering Science, Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). He graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University and got his doctor degree in 2010. Since that time, he has been working for SUES. His current research focuses on (1) Additive Manufacturing for Metal: Selective laser melting (SLM), Electron Beam Melting (EBM); (2) Laser Materials Processing: Laser precision microfabrication, Laser cladding and welding; (3) Thermomechanical Processing: New material welding and physical metallurgy.
