Debasis Kumar is pursuing his PhD in computer science and working as a junior research fellow of autonomous driving in the Autonomous Driving Lab at the University of Tartu, Estonia. He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics (2010) and master's degree in Applied Mathematics (2012) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh (DU); he received his M.Phil degree in Mathematics (2019) from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh (BUET). He has taught mathematics (2012-2021) at the American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB). His previous research experience includes computational fluid dynamics (CFD). His current research interests focus on autonomous driving, perception, localization, and mapping.
