Dr. Ali Sercan Kesten is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering, Civil Engineering Division, Gebze Technical University. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2005, a Master’s of Transportation Engineering from the same university in 2008, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2013. His fields of scientific interest include highway and railway design, highway traffic control, railway engineering, railway vibration and noise, and transportation planning and systems analysis.
