Michael M. Galagudza is currently employed as director of the Institute of Experimental Medicine, Almazov National Medical Research Centre, St-Petersburg, Russian Federation. He has been graduated as MD from Pavlov Federal Medical University, St-Petersburg, Russian Federation, in 2000. At present, he is having 20-year experience in experimental and preclinical research, working also as a professor at the Department of Pathophysiology, Pavlov Federal Medical University. His research interests are focused on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and cardioprotection. He is a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences
