Research activity Main fields of expertise as a researcher: i) morpho-functional characterization of cells and tissues of the cardiovascular system in normal conditions and in experimental models of disease ; ii) biological and pharmacological effects of the peptide hormone relaxin and its molecular mechanisms of action; iii) biological and therapeutic effects of visible and IR light, iv) cell and tissue models of wound healing in low gravity conditions for space medicine.
