Dr. Gang Lei received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from Huanggang Normal University in 2003, as well as an M.S. degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Huazhong
University of Science and Technology in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He is currently a senior lecturer at the School of Electrical and Data Engineering, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. His current research interests include electrical machines and systems, multidisciplinary design optimization, industrial big data, and cloud computing techniques.
