Raquel Largo gained her Chemistry Degree at the University Complutense de Madrid (Biochemistry) in 1993 and her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Autonoma University, Madrid, in 1998. Since 2005, she has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Autonoma University, Madrid, and the Nursery School of the Fundacion Jimenez Diaz Hospital. Since 2023, she is the Head of the Joint and Bone Research Unit, Rheumatology Department, Institute Biomedical Research Fundación Jiménez Díaz-Autonoma University, Madrid.
