Manish Sharma obtained a Ph.D. from IIT, Bombay, in Signal Processing. He received the prestigious "Excellence in Ph.D. Research Work (Best Ph.D. Thesis)" award for his outstanding research contributions at IIT, Bombay. He received a Postdoctoral Fellowship to research biomedical signal processing and machine learning at IIT, Indore. He has been offered the prestigious "ERCIM" Alain Bensoussan Fellowship of the European Union for his research work at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering at IITRAM, Ahmadabad, an autonomous university established by the Government of Gujarat, India. His primary research interests are in signal processing, healthcare analytics, machine learning, filter banks, and wavelets and their communication and biomedical engineering applications. He has published more than 65 articles, including 50 SCI research papers, with more than 2300 citations and an h-index of 28 (Jule 2022).
