Marcos Sepúlveda is a Civil Engineer in Industries with a major in Computer Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also holds academic degrees of Master and Doctor of Engineering Sciences from the said house of studies. Since 2001, he has been a full-time professor at the School of Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in the area of Information Technology. His academic interests are linked to the management of business processes, data science, and the strategic use of IT in companies. He is the director of the Information Technology Studies Center of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (CETIUC), which aims to promote best practices in the use of information technology.
