Dr. Jill Tinmouth is a gastroenterologist and a clinical epidemiologist. She works at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto. She is also the Lead Scientist for Ontario’s colorectal cancer screening program, ColonCancerCheck. She holds a master’s degree from the New York University School of Medicine and a doctorate from the University of Toronto. She uses diverse methods ranging from observational studies using health administrative data, pragmatic clinical trials, and qualitative approaches to study colorectal cancer screening and the quality of colonoscopy, including the use of audit and feedback.
