With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, FR is an adjunct professor in the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda and a researcher at the Health Sciences Research Center of University of Beira Interior, Portugal. FR is a regulatory affairs expert at the Portuguese Pharmacist College. Her research interests are focused on clinical pharmacy, pharmacoepidemiology, and public health. She was awarded a clinical epidemiology prize by the Medical Science Lisbon Society and MSD (2016). FR is an editor and referee of international journals, having more than 40 papers and book chapters in the area of pharmacoepidemiology and public health, and also more than 100 conference presentations. She is a responsible member of projects financed by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.
