Biography
Xudong Zhao is a globally recognized energy researcher whose focus is on sustainable building services, renewable energy, and energy efficiency technologies. Over his 30-year career, he has led or participated in 58 research projects worth GBP 18.5 million and 40 engineering consultancy projects worth GBP 5 million and claimed 11 patents. Professor Zhao is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the European Academy of Sciences, the Energy Institute, and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
