Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, HoD of Physics and Environmental Sciences, SBSR, Ph.D., from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India, is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University, India. As a postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Singh has been invited to visit South Korea, Norway, and Turkey (over 6 years abroad). Dr. Singh has published 201 papers (as of March 2020), of which 195 have been published in international journals, as well as 6 book chapters. He is currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for seven international journals. He has participated in/presented papers at 35 international conferences/symposia/workshops. He has also been involved in the organization of four international and six national conferences at Sharda University. In addition to teaching B. Tech. and M. Tech. students, Dr. Singh is involved in research within specialized areas such as polymer electrolytes, nanoporous materials for energy devices, dye-sensitized solar cells, and supercapacitors. He has completed one research project, and is currently working on a material science project (DRDO) for the Govt. of India. At present, he is supervising five students for their Ph.D. studies; four students have successfully achieved their Ph.D. degrees under his guidance.
