Xiangjun Zou was born in 1957 and is a Professor and Doctoral Advisor. She is engaged in the research of intelligent robot and machine vision, intelligent design and manufacturing, and virtual reality and simulation. She has presided over and completed 10 National Natural Science Foundation projects, the Doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education, and provincial science and technology projects. She has won six scientific and technological progress awards. Among them, there are two National Defence Science and Technology Progress Awards (one second-class and one third-class, respectively), two Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, and a Rockwell Automation Doctor Award in 2004. She has won three National Excellent Thesis Awards. She has published more than 160 papers, 80 of which are indexed in SCI/EI. She has obtained seven invention patents and six software copyrights.
