Peng Chen was born in Dalian, Liaoning, China, in 1982. He received a B.S. degree in geographical information science from the China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, in 2005, and a Ph.D. degree in environmental science from Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China, in 2012. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Dalian Maritime University. His research interests include machine learning and remote sensing image processing.
