Pilar Marín Palacios, Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). UCM Researcher and Director of the Institute of Applied Magnetism, since 2017. Her research focuses on the magnetic properties of amorphous and nanocrystalline magnetic wires and microwires, on exchange interaction, on magnetic sensors and biosensors, and on electromagnetic wave-absorbing material. In recent years, she has patented a method for the synthesis of graphene in a few layers. Also, she is theCo-Director of the Complutense Research Group “Applied Magnetism and Magnetic Manostructures Group”, evaluated by the AEI as Excellent.
