Dr. Maxime Taghavi is currently affiliated with the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Brugmann, Brussels, Belgium. He is also a Faculty Member of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. In 2019, he served as a Resident at the Department of Rheumatology, Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, dealing with clinical research on antiphospholipid antibody-associated nephropathy. His research interests are mainly focused on endothelial cell dysfunction, antiphospholipid syndrome, antiphospholipid antibodies associated with nephropathy and hemodialysis complications, thrombotic microangiopathies, and complement systems. His clinical interests are focused on clinical nephrology, glomerular diseases, lupus nephritis, antiphospholipid syndrome, complement system diseases, thrombotic microangiopathies, and peritoneal dialysis.
