Prof. Dr. Michele Fiorentino has a Ph.D. and is an associate professor at the Polytechnic University of Bari (Italy). Since 2015, he has been a full-time associate professor. He attained the National Scientific Qualification as a full professor in 2017. Since 2002, he has been a researcher at the Polytechnic Institute of Bari and a visiting researcher at excellent institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute of Computer Graphics, Darmstadt, Germany; IDAV, University of California, USA; ICG University of Technology, Graz, Austria; and the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, Paderborn, Germany. His research interests concern mixed reality, human–computer interaction, ergonomics, and biomedical and industrial applications. He is a member of ADM, the Italian Industrial Engineering Design and Methods Association.
