Yue Xu received his B.S. degree in Geography Information Science from Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, China, in 2016; his M.S. degree in Geosciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Ma, USA, in 2018; and his Ph.D. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. His research interests include remote sensing land-use and land-cover classification methods and applications, hyper-spectral remote sensing information extraction, and the construction and assessment methods of sample databases for intelligent remote sensing image interpretation.
