Rahim Ali Abbaspour received the B.Sc. degree in surveying engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2000, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in GIS from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2002 and 2009, respectively. In 2010, he joined the School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, as an assistant professor. His research interests include artificial intelligence, optimization, multi-criteria decision making (MCDM), data science, spatio-temporal data mining and knowledge discovery, and volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) with applications generally in natural disasters and urban management.
