Liu Mengnan is currently working in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University as an attending physician. He is also a post - doctoral researcher jointly trained by Zhejiang University and Southwest Medical University. Liu Mengnan has successively obtained a bachelor's degree in medicine and law, and a master's degree in medicine at Southwest Medical University, and a doctorate in medicine from Macau University of Science and Technology. His main research direction is the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases by integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Currently, he serves as a council member in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Immunity Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, a committee member in the Cardiovascular Disease Special Committee of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Promotion Association, and a young editorial board member of "China Journal of Basic Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine" and "Traditional Medicine Research". In the past three years, he has published more than 30 SCI papers in journals such as "Phytomedicine" and "Pharmacological research"; more than 40 Chinese papers; and has been granted 8 Chinese utility model patents and 1 invention patent.
