Barbarella Matos Macchi is a professor of biochemistry at the Institute of Biological Science, Federal University of Pará. She has a degree in Biomedicine (2003), a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and Cell Biology (2006), and a Ph.D degree in Neuroscience and Cell Biology (2011), all from the Federal University of Pará. She has experience in cell biology, biochemistry, oxidative stress and hematology.
