Dr. Eva Díaz obtained her B.S. degree in chemical engineering in 2002 and her Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of Oviedo (Oviedo, Spain). She has worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering since 2011 and is currently a Full Professor. She spent several periods at the Institute de Recherches sur la Catalyse and the University of Berkeley to develop research programs in the adsorption and catalysis fields. Her interests are focused on adsorption processes, research of new materials (micro- and mesoporous ones), and heterogeneous catalysis. She has attended several conferences at national and international congresses and participated in several industrial projects and international research programs. She has offered consulting services related to environmental policy to professionals in Spain and coedited a book in this field.
