Kai-Qing Zhou was born in Changsha, China in 1984. He received the B.S. degree in computer
science and technology from Jishou University in 2006, the M.S. degree in computer applied techniques from the Changsha University of Science and Technology in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree
in computer science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2016. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the College of Information and Engineering, Central South University, from 2016 to 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Data Science and Big Data Technology, College of Information and Engineering, Jishou University. His main research interests include fuzzy Petri net and its applications, clinical decision support systems, and soft computing techniques.
