Dr. Mikhael Bechelany is a CNRS Research Director at the European Institute of Membranes (IEM), University of Montpellier. He completed his PhD in chemistry from the University of Lyon (France) in 2006. His research interests include novel synthesis methods for metals and ceramics nanomaterials such as atomic layer deposition (ALD), electrodeposition, electrospinning, 3D printing and/or nanostructuring using natural lithography (nanospheres and/or membranes). His research efforts include the design of nanostructured membranes for health, the environment and renewable energy. He has 441 publications with 20751 citations and an h-index of 77 (Scopus, 04 September 2025).
