Yifan Zhao is a Chair Professor in AI for Engineering at Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and System Engineering from the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK, in 2007. He received the MSc and BEng degrees in Automatic Control Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China, in 2003 and 2000, respectively. His research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, signal processing, non-destructive testing, and nonlinear system identification. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Senior Member of IEEE.
